Ingersoll Rand Mobile App Offers Complete Pit Stop Experience

Interactive game takes players to pit row while featuring Ingersoll Rand’s Thunder Gun and family of brands

Davidson, North Carolina, October 10, 2012 Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR) is giving race fans a taste of pit row with a mobile app called Thunder Gun Pit Crew Titans that challenges players to see how fast they can get their cars in and out of the pits and back on the track for racing.

Thunder Gun Pit Crew Titans is named for the Ingersoll Rand-branded Thunder Gun, an impact wrench used by the top NASCAR pit crews to remove and tighten tire lug nuts. The game puts players in control of an eight-person pit crew to change tires, operate the jack, refuel the car and clean the grill. Times are recorded to determine the fastest pit stops.

Players can choose from paint schemes featuring the Ingersoll Rand family of brands – Ingersoll Rand air and electric tools; Trane heating and air conditioning systems; Club Car golf cars and utility vehicles, Schlage locks and security solutions and Thermo King temperature control transportation units, or create their own car designs.

The game also will be featured in the official Ingersoll Rand NASCAR hauler that’s positioned in the racetrack infield during NASCAR events, including the Dollar General 300 in Charlotte, N.C., on October 12.
